 Reggio Emilia Study – reflections on I-T provision

What a wonderful start to the series of three Conversations.  Thank you to Anne Meade and Rachel Denee from Daisies Childcare for coming and sharing your thoughts,  impressions and reflections following your recent Tour to Reggio Emilia.

The first of three great evenings at Kohia Centre in Auckland was held on Monday 19th July.  The next evening is Monday 23rd August with Brenda Soutar and Miria Wipaki from Mana Tamariki.  The third and final evening is with Sally Groenhart: The Crib Matakana.  If you have missed out on attending please join the online conversation.  The first comment has now been posted.

With Keynote Speaker, Kirsty Liljegren
Kirsty is the Director of the Early Learning Centre of the Cornish Campus of St Leonard’s College, Melbourne, Australia. St Leonard’s College is 30 kilometres from the city situated on 100 acres of marshlands, where there is a strong emphasis on sustainable education. Kirsty has both an educational and personal interest in connecting with nature and this has become an integral part of her pedagogical practice. She has experience over many years, teaching children between 3 and 7. Members of the REANZ Melbourne tours, both early childhood and primary school teachers, consider Kirsty’s presentation a highlight.

Christchurch Friends

Hello REANZ friends in Christchurch,

We have had an enquiry from a teacher in Christchurch who would like to meet up with others in the city and district to meet, talk and arrange future seminars.

The REANZ trustees are always interested to help by coming to your city to help run a one day event or seminar but we do need some local willing helpers.  We have recently brought five speakers to Dunedin in a wonderfully successful seminar, 150 teachers attended.
