Exploring Primary Teaching and Learning Through a Reggio Emilia Inspired Lens in Aotearoa

18 February 2026 - 3.30-4.30pm

Hosts: Lindi Newth, Logan Burson and Lorraine Manuela (REANZ)

In this session, we continue our shared inquiry into classroom environments as living, responsive invitations to learn. Together we’ll explore:

  • How do intentionally designed environments spark joy, wonder, and deep engagement?

  • In what ways do our spaces invite collaboration, agency, and risk-taking.

  • How can environments evolve in response to children’s questions, discoveries, and theories?

We invite you to join the conversation by sharing photos of your classroom and reflecting on the choices you’ve made. What do these spaces reveal about what you value in children’s learning?

Come and dive into these values, share your thinking, hear teacher stories, ask questions and be inspired by one another.

Before the meeting: Please send in a couple of photos of your class environment to lindi.newth@bromley.school.nz by 16th February so we can add them to the slides ready for our session.

Whether you’re starting your Reggio journey or have years of experience, this is a chance to connect, collaborate, and help shape how REANZ ‘Click and Connect Online’ network can evolve.
