The Draft study Group Outline

The study group begins on Tuesday 2nd September - 1.00pm - It is important that you arrive on time! The week begins with getting to know each other and a presentation focussing on the pedagogy of Reggio Emilia with Chris and Kylie, and will be followed by a visit to an Early Learning Centre.

Other visits might include Bialik Early Learning Centre and Early Years Primary, Pope Road Kindergarten, Footscray Catholic Primary School, Isobel Henderson Kindergarten.

Study Group ends at 3.00pm. Friday, followed by dinner together - the cost is covered in your registration.

Study Group Costs

The registration cost below includes:

• seminars; and

• visits to centres and schools; and

• accommodation at Punt Hill Apartments, Little Bourke St, Central Melbourne.

Some refreshments will be provided. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be at your expense. You are also responsible for your air flights, insurance and airport transfers.

Please ensure your travel arrangements allow you to be at the accommodation to begin at 1.00pm, Tuesday 2nd September. You can extend your stay at the beginning or end of the study week.

Accomodation Options (Some options are limited).

Option 1: Studio apartment. One double bed; Single occupancy - Cost per person: $2316.pp

OR

Option 2: Studio apartment. One double bed; Double occupancy - Cost per person: $1830pp

Or

Option 3/A: 1 Bedroom apartment. One double bed; Single occupancy - Cost per person: $2342pp.

OR

Option 3/B: 1 Bedroom apartment - Sharing with one other person in the same bedroom…2 single beds - double occupancy. This option is for 2 people who know each other, or for a couple attending. Cost per person: $1830pp

OR

Option 4/A: 2 Bedroom apartment. Sharing with others in a 2 Bedroom apartment. Single occupancy in one of the bedrooms. 1 Double bed. This option may mean you will be sharing with one or two people you do not know in the other bedroom. Three people can be accommodated in this apartment. Cost per person: $2214.

OR

Option 4/A: 2 Bedroom apartment. Sharing with others in a 2 bedroom apartment and sharing a bedroom with 1 other person - 2 single beds. Double occupancy. This option is for 2 people who know each other. Cost per person: $1830.

We have already received a number of expressions of interest so places will be limited - please don’t delay in registering!

To register and secure your space:

• Please check the details when you receive your email receipt.

• On receipt of your registration, REANZ will send an invoice showing when payments are to be made by.

• The deposit of $1,000. confirms your registration. Your registration is not confirmed until we receive your deposit.

• The balance to be paid by 1st July 2026.

• Once we confirm your registration and confirm the study tour is going ahead, we will let you know to book flights, and travel insurance.

• Please Cceck you have an up to date Passport and a current visa if necessary.

Refund Policy

If you are unable to travel, all money paid will be refunded before 1st July 2025, less 20% administration fee. After July 1st refunds will be considered on a one by one basis for cancellation that is not covered by travel insurance. Please ensure you have travel insurance as soon as possible so you are eligible to claim from that date onwards.

The balance of your payment (Less the deposit of $1,000.) must be made before 1st July 2026 – please remind the person making the payment. There may be a small adjustment to the price if our NZ $ falls!
